"A New Dawn" is the third album of Skyforest. It was written entirely in the first half of 2019 and takes us further into the Atmospheric (Black) Metal territory that we know from "Unity" and "Harmony".
Lyrically, it is about the journey into a new chapter of one's life. You never know what awaits you on a new day...but it's worth checking out. Many questions are still left unanswered and yet it may lead to a positive change.
The artist’s continued growth into a powerful, life-affirming creator is also reflected metaphorically in all of Skyforest’s artworks after the debut, and culminates in the wonderful paintings which adorn the new album, again masterfully captured on canvas by Sergey Shenderovsky.

"Darüber, ob SKYFOREST mit seinem minimalen Anteil an Schreigesang und Highspeed-Riffing und -Drumming überhaupt noch als Black Metal durchgeht, lässt sich gewiss zu Recht debattieren.
