Info/Extras: Gates of Isthar was formed in Luleå, Sweden in 1992. Their debut demo ‘Season of Frost’ led to a record deal with Finnish Spinefarm records. Their debut album ‘A Bloodred Path’ was recorded at the famous Tico-Tico studios (Sentenced, Demigod, Impaled Nazarene) and released in 1996. The vic records re-issue of the highly acclaimed debut album comes with a booklet remake very close to the orginal 1994 version and the same coverart as used back then. Great melodic Swedish death metal like Dawn, Dissection, Sacramentum and early At The Gates.
